Cindy Peck shows that she can provide a safe environment for the children in her care. She promotes good health and nutrition with all meals and snacks. Cindy also follows, learn through play experience for her preschooler. Cindy provides a safe and exploratory learning experience for the children in her care.
Cindy has a large array of choices for the children to develop their large motor skills. Cindy is always attending seminars to help her children with their cognitive learning style. She also provides a environment full of learning and age appropriate ideas and educational themed activities, encouraging the children’s social skills and their verbal communication with their peers. Cindy creates an environment that is full of music and movement, helping the children to express themselves and learn to explore their surrounding areas. Cindy works with the children in her care to provide a secure environment
to help children feel supported, respected and redirects to create a sense of
understanding between her and the child.
Providing accurate communication and helping the children, also the parents with an open door communication
policy. She sends home daily notes and monthly newsletters to help encourage parental involvement with the
child’s active learning styles. Cindy explains to the parents the activities and the basis for the educational or social goal that coordinates with these activities. She also explains how the process of the social and emotional awareness helps the children in their future educational goals.
Cindy has chosen to continue her education to help improve the quality of care she provides for the children in her
care. She always takes every opportunity to enhance her skills as a child care provider and an educator for
the next generation of children entering school.
